More than a summer job
For many participants, a summer in New Jersey is about much more than a seasonal job. It's a chance to experience American culture, meet people from around the world, explore New Jersey, and create memories that last a lifetime.
Our international participants become part of our community while experiencing life in the United States. We believe cultural exchange should happen both inside and outside the workplace.
Cultural activities
Throughout the summer, we organize activities and cultural experiences that help our international participants discover the local area and experience American traditions. Our activities can include:
Museum visits
Explore museums and cultural attractions throughout New Jersey and the surrounding area.
Summer fairs & festivals
Experience local summer fairs, community events, and seasonal celebrations.
Beach trips
Enjoy New Jersey's beaches and spend time together outside of work.
Line dancing
Learn some American-style line dancing while enjoying an evening with friends and coworkers.
Bonfires
Relax, socialize, share stories, and enjoy summer evenings together around a bonfire.
